Church Network

The Mosaic Church Network is a loosely affliated network of churches committed to healthy, mutually beneficial partnerships across divides of race and socio-economics in northern Lake County.

Young Adults Initiative

In 2016, Trinity was awarded a five-year grant through the Lilly Endowment to strengthen our continuing work with and resourcing of churches engaged in ministry with young adults (ages 23–29). Trinity will partner with twelve congregations, with significant opportunities for Mosaic students to serve in reaching out to young adults through poetry slams, street evangelism, community development, and more.

Church Ministry and Mentorship

Within this network, students can find church homes, mentors, and service opportunities (including possible internship credit). In addition to students serving in northern Lake County, pastors also serve on Trinity’s campus through speaking opportunities at the Mosaic Gathering, in chapel, and in the classroom. Faculty members also have the opportunity to speak at local churches, both from the pulpit and in seminars. We are God’s reconciled family, diverse in background, but united in purpose to see God’s Kingdom come.

Adult Undergraduate Program

In collaboration with local pastors, Trinity launched a Christian Ministries Certificate program in Waukegan at a deeply discounted rate. As local leaders are further equipped for ministry, churches are strengthened and more people are reached with the Gospel.
